McCormick Tribune Foundation Appoints Patricia Overstreet-Miller as Senior Director of Communications and Marketing

CHICAGO, February 27, 2008

The McCormick Tribune Foundation proudly announces the addition of Patricia “Pattie” Overstreet-Miller as senior director of communications and marketing. Overstreet-Miller assumes responsibility of all marketing, communication and public relations efforts for the McCormick Tribune Foundation. Her principal functions include the creation, refinement and communication of the Foundation-wide brand strategy.

“Pattie’s strategic approach to marketing and communications is essential as the McCormick Tribune Foundation grows and expands its distinctive programs that serve communities across the nation,” said David L. Grange, president and chief executive officer, McCormick Tribune Foundation. “Her keen insight and business acumen will help ensure that our diverse audiences understand the Foundation and the services we offer that positively impact our country.”

Overstreet-Miller brings a diverse background to the Foundation with significant experience in strategic communications, integrated marketing and public relations. She has held senior level positions at Career Education Corporation, Dade Behring International and Allstate Insurance Company. Some of her industry achievements include a series of awards from the International Association of business Communicators, most notably the prestigious Business Issues Award, and the Public Relations Society of America.

Overstreet-Miller holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Centenary College, a Master of Arts in English from Virginia Tech and a Masters of Business Administration in marketing and finance from University of Illinois, Chicago. She is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America and holds several professional designations, including Chartered Financial Consultant, Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter.
